The MAN eTGL is setting new standards in urban and regional transport. With its fully electric drive, the compact commercial vehicle combines eco-friendly credentials with outstanding power and economy. While a sophisticated cooling and heating system ensures the efficient use of the battery capacity of up to 160kWh (with two battery packs), the MAN eTGL is also extremely manoeuvrable and boasts stable handling with heavy loads thanks to the short wheelbase.
The agile eTruck is designed for use with dry-freight box bodies in different sizes 1 and its quiet operation benefits both the driver and residents. What’s more, when it comes to exhaust emissions, you don’t have to worry about access restrictions due to pollutants with the MAN eTGL.

Fully digital instrument cluster
Everything at a glance: The new standard view of the high-resolution 12.3-inch colour display offers intuitive operation and clearly displays the most important vehicle data. The semi-circular arrangement of the speedometer and rev counter creates more space in the centre for additional information such as energy balance and electrical power take-offs.
Calm display mode
Focus on the essentials: The new calmed display mode shows only the most important driving information for quick detection. It can be activated manually and switches on automatically when reversing.
The battery: The core element of the MAN eTGL
The battery in the new MAN electric truck generation sets new standards. With a maximum usable battery capacity of 160kWh (with two battery packs), the MAN eTGL can achieve a range of up to 235kilometres. If you use your breaks wisely for top-up charging, you can increase the daily range further. With innovative fast chargers with a charging capacity of 250kW, you can usually recharge the battery packs in just 40minutes.
We produce our batteries in-house at the MAN site in Nuremberg, keeping the expertise for this key technology in our own hands. The MAN batteries are specially developed for commercial vehicles and meet the requirements of these vehicles in daily use. They offer high energy levels while staying lightweight and keeping costs down – without any compromises in terms of operational safety.
